Concealed Pistol License (CPL)
The State of Michigan requires you to take this training prior to applying for your Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL). The course consists of 5 hours of classroom instruction, covering topics such as: conflict avoidance, situational awareness, the use of force and deadly force, pistol shooting positions, ammunition information, laws pertaining to concealed carry, and much more. The State also requires 3 hours of range time including firing at least 30 rounds of ammo. Our classes are very interactive and NOT boring! Check out our Google reviews and see what previous students say about us.
Interactive instruction with the class keeps students participating and asking questions

There's much discussion about scenarios and the use of force. Should I shoot, or no? Questions we discuss.

Basic handgun fieldstripping is a part of every CPL class at FLD.

At the end of the day, students walk away empowered, knowledgeable, and smiling. For some who have procrastinated and put this off for years feel a sense of accomplishment.
